Kate Adams, Owner and Culinary Artist, is a 2004 graduate of The University of Akron. She has also trained at Western Reserve School of Cooking in Hudson, Rustico Cooking in NYC, and under Maurizio Moretti at the GTT in Florence, Italy. Kate loves to create, tweak, and try out new recipes in her kitchen at home. Her husband, Ben,loves this as well... He is her biggest fan and most sincere critic.
Rachael Manthey, Pastry Designer and Overall Muse
Rachael specializes in pastries and their presentation. She has also studied under Micol Negrin in NYC; and helped to create our signature dessert, the Tiramisu Bomb. Look for her newest seasonal desserts on our website.
Katie Gingo Locke, Sous Chef and Green Bean Queen
Katie joined the Spice of Life staff in August 2007. She has played a key role in the company's growth, as she leads a second team of staff for dates when we book 2 events. She is one of our recipe masterminds and the go-to girl for culinary definitions. Katie has discerning taste when it comes to brands of cutlery, but a more simple palate for comfort food: this girl loves a good reuben sandwich!
Emily Adams, Web Designer and Manager
Emily is a college student with strong technical (and musical!) leanings. At this time, Spice of Life LTD does not need any musical assistance, but greatly appreciates all her tech knowledge and work on the company website.
